Sunday I went on my second picnic of the summer. It was a potluck picnic, so, among other things, I made this salsa to bring. Above, you can see most of the ingredients: orange bell pepper, fresh garlic, lime, tomatillos, green onions & tomatoes.

A little squirt of tequila is good, too.

Here are my veggies & garlic, chopped and waiting in the food processor. I squeezed the lime juice over them, poured in a little tequila (and a little more and a little more) and sprinkled them with salt. And then…

I processed them. Later, we ate the salsa with chips. It was good – you should try it!
