I’m terribly sorry for neglecting the blog lately. For the next couple days I’ll be back to my regular schedule, then I’m off to Boston! I’m hoping to get some posts scheduled so everything will update automatically while I’m away (although that feature doesn’t always seem to work), but for now…a short little tip for an oil-free fasting snack: Trail Mix. Or whatever you want to call it since I never actually have taken it on a trail. The ingredients are simple…

Dry roasted nuts (whatever kind you like, I usually use almond and peanuts, sometimes walnuts) with raisins and dairy-free chocolate chips such as Ghirardelli semi-sweet or Gordon Foods brand. It’s filling, nutritious and delicious! And super easy.
