Every once in a while I like to throw out a really simple Lenten recipe for my Orthodox friends. This one I barely feel comfortable calling a recipe, but…I guess it kind of is. You will need:
1. Raisin Bran
2. Peanut Butter
3. Almond Milk or other non-dairy milk alternative
4. Oatmeal, optional
Drizzle some room temp natural peanut butter over raisin bran. If you’re not a fan of natural peanut butter, or if your natural peanut butter is in the fridge and kind of really hard, melt it down on the stove first (or the microwave, if you must). Stir to coat.
If you want to make it more filling, add a few tablespoons of uncooked quick cooking oats.
