simple veggie sandwich on Ezekiel Bread (oil free)

Okay, I’m taking a break from Christmas stuff for a minute to bring you a quick, easy sandwich recipe using Ezekiel Bread since I promised you I would. I like to keep my word.

Two slices of sprouted whole grain Ezekiel Bread, lightly toasted. Spread on a thin layer of plain tahini (or you can use a tahini sauce if you want to make things more complicated). Sprinkle with nutritional yeast. You may want to add a little salt, too.

Place it under the broiler until it firms up and starts to brown a bit.

Add veggies of your choice. Mine is simply pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion. Easy as that!
