My mom gave me some kelp powder and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Popcorn is my favorite snack, and when I did some googling I found I wasn’t the only one who thought about popcorn seasoned with kelp powder.
Now, all the recipes I saw just said to add the topping while the popcorn was hot, but I tried it and it didn’t stick. How could it? If someone knows the secret, let me know. Instead, I drizzled olive oil over it and then sprinkled on the topping, along with a little salt and garlic powder.
I’m not gonna lie, the taste was a little weird. I kind of put the bowl aside while I did stuff online. But then I kept catching myself reaching for it…until it was gone. I don’t think it was just my love of popcorn, I think the flavor grows on you.
