I’ve been trying to get back in the habit of bringing a lunch to work. The days I forget, I usually just skip lunch or end up eating a handful of nuts. Not my favorite. Sometimes I remember at the last minute and need something I can throw together quickly, and I get something like this:
Tahini sauce. This is very similar to the kind I used on my blackened corn salad, except with more spices – this is 2 Tbsp tahini, salt, lemon, garlic, chili powder, cumin, dill, onion powder, and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce to taste. About 1 tsp of spirulina. Water it down until the desired consistency is reached.
but the romaine I filled with both the beans & sauce. I suppose a raw foodist would call this a raw taco. And since I used fat free beans, the meal is also conveniently oil free and perfect for a strict fasting day!
