Neapolitan pizza

Okay, after a little trip down memory lane yesterday, we now return to Pizza Week!

Last night I made a simple Neapolitan pizza, still using my favorite basic sauce & crust recipes. I rolled the crust out super thin – don’t forget to oil the pan, and then brush a little oil on the crust before adding the toppings. Bake at 500 for about 10 minutes…

It’s just daiya mozzarella & a few fresh basil leaves.

I coated the leaves in olive oil so they wouldn’t burn or dry out. It made them turn a very dark green which maybe isn’t as pretty…but it tasted really good!
