Free Food: WIN IT. Daiya Cheese & Qrunch Burgers!

So let’s say you had four coupons each good for a free box of Qrunch Burgers, and two coupons each good for up to $5.99 off a Daiya vegan cheese product. What would you buy with them, and what would you make? Post one recipe idea in the comments below by 10:00pm EST on Friday, March 6, and your name will be entered in a drawing for the coupons!

And it’s very possible I will have additional Daiya coupons by the time the contest ends, in which case I will throw in one or two more. Aaaand I will also include a few coupons each good for $1 off a box of Qrunch Burgers because you will probably want more once you get through the free boxes.

  1. I have never tried this but would love too!!!! I gave up beef and pork almost 4 years ago and chicken and turkey a year ago!!!! Have lost 53 pounds thus far!!!! All by eating healthy etc,??✌️

  2. I’d use both to make a gf/vegan primavera pizza! Gf crust, tomato sauce, crumbled spicy italian crunch burger, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, zuchinni and daiya mozzarella!

  3. I’ve never used Daiya, so I’m curious to see how it is (I hear good things)!
    The very first thing that comes to mind is CHEESE BURGER!!
    From the looks of it, I might also be able to do an eggplant Parmesan using the “cheese” as a binder and crumbled Qrunch burger for coating.

    • Oh yeah, I did make a donut burger once using a Qrunch Burger and cheese sauce made from Daiya!! Eggplant Parmesan is a wonderful idea, too.

  4. I would buy a block of Daiya Jalapeño Havarti cheese, and a box of Saucy Buffalo Qrunch burgers. I’d chop the Qrunch burger into bite size pieces to add to a taco salad, grate the cheese to top the salad, and dress the salad with a blend of Just Mayo, avocado, lime & cilantro. Ooooh…and with whatever I have leftover I would make a really good plate of nachos.

First of all, I’d essentially make a burger bagel breakfast sandwich with the Qrunch burgers; toasted in the toaster oven, instead of fried on the stove, spread with prickly pear jelly made from cactus down on the bottom of the mountain, and a tiny bit of fresh ground dijon mustard. I’d serve it with some fried julienne-sliced prickly pear pads to serve as equivalents to French fries, with some hot sauce made with organic habeñero peppers from Whipstone farms in Chino valley. I’d serve it with a glass of Page Springs Vino Barrio Blanc (94% Malvasia Bianca and the rest Marsanne). The theme, overall, would be “Hey local stuff is awesome.”

    I fear I’m not as familiar with their cheese products, so I’m not sure what I’d do with them, but maybe attempt to make a vegan pizza, again with as many local ingredients as possible.

  6. Since I hail from Western New York, I’d want those Saucy Buffalo Qrunch burgers. I’d probably just slice them into strips and eat them with carrots and celery! As for the Daiya cheese, I would use the Pepperjack shreds for nachos. (Wow, it sounds like I eat dinner at the bowling alley every night if I’m craving wings and nachos. I promise I really do love to cook!)

    • Ha, my dad makes sausage balls using this three ingredient recipe, and I use Daiya and Lite Life “sausage” to make my own 🙂 The coupons are good for any of the Daiya products, so you could use them for both the shreds and the cream cheese! Best of luck!!

        • No, unfortunately I don’t have his recipe, I just know it’s Bisquick, sausage, and shredded cheese. When I make the vegan version, I do it by feel rather than measuring.

  8. I would make an good ole fashion cheeseburger on Ezekiel burger bun with lettuce tomatoes and pickles. if I have left over cheese, then I would make a few homemade pizzas with the Daiya mozzarella cheese.

  10. mm, well that qrunch burger would simply be a delish cheeseburger, and with daiya, I was sold by the mushroom & roasted garlic pizza that I saw. Yum!

    • Excellent idea. I wasn’t a fan of pineapple on pizza until a couple years ago, a friend pineapple in BBQ sauce. Ever tried it?
