We have a winner! This morning at 9am EST, Tete randomly selected a name from all the wonderful contest entries. Congratulations to yoursister who will be receiving:

Two coupons each good for one free box of Qrunch Foods products
Two coupons each good for up to $5.99 off Daiya Cheese products
Two coupons each good for $1 off Qrunch Foods products

All thanks to her winning theme which read, “My plans for summer include eating a protein packed Qrunch burger before giving birth.”

Best wishes to you for an easy birth-giving! And thank you to everyone that entered, you’ll have another chance to win in August.

Giveaway: FREE FOOD!!!!!!! Coupons for Qrunch Foods & Daiya Cheese

Well aren’t you lucky, it’s that time again – time for another coupon giveaway! The winner of this giveaway will receive:

2 coupons for FREE Qrunch Foods products
2 coupons for FREE Daiya Cheese products (up to $5.99 off)
2 coupons for $1 off Qrunch Foods Products

Keep in mind this doesn’t necessarily mean you have to buy Qrunch Burgers and Daiya Cheese shreds. Qrunch Foods also makes Toastables, similar to the burgers but they are bars that come in breakfast flavors. Daiya now makes pizza, cheesecake, cheese blocks, cheese slices, cream cheese, and I hear…mac n cheese!

How it Works
Now boys and girls, I’m going to give you an assignment. I want you to write…a theme (A Christmas Story, remember?). You may enter this contest once a day every day from now until the contest closes at Midnight on Sunday, June 14. To enter, write your theme, “My Plans for the Summer,” below in the comments. Bonus entry if your theme somehow includes Qrunch Foods or Daiya Cheese πŸ™‚

Again, the contest closes at midnight on Sunday, June 14. On Monday, a winner will be randomly selected to receive the coupons. The winner will be contacted by Tuesday, June 16.

Good luck!

We Have a Winner!

As promised, this past Friday I randomly selected a name from the entrants in the Daiya Cheese & Qrunch Foods coupon giveaway. Congratulations, Shamassy! Your coupons are in the mail. In case you missed it, her entry read:

“We love the Daiya mozarella on homemade pizzas – using the β€œArtisan Bread in 5 Minutes A Day” recipe. Soooo delicious!”

And as far as pizzas go, the Spicy Italian Qrunch burgers make a wonderful substitute for Italian sausage, flavorwise – in fact, the excellent idea of crumbling a Qrunch burger or two over a Primavera Pizza was suggested by Amanda. Some of these great recipe ideas may end up featured here in the future πŸ™‚

Thank you all for participating! I hope we can do this again soon.

Time is Running Out: Enter to WIN Today!!! Qrunch Burgers & Daiya Cheese

And remember: You have until FRIDAY, March 6, at 10:00pm EST to enter the giveaway for coupons for FREE products, and discounts. I’m having a great time reading everyone’s recipe ideas!

Last Chance to Win Just Mayo & Qrunch Burgers – Gluten Free & Vegan!!!

The Contest Closes Today!!!

If you would like to be entered to win two 8oz jars of Just Mayo by Hampton Creek, and four coupons each good for one free box of Qrunch Burgers by Qrunch Foods (that’s 16 burgers), be sure to enter today (Monday, November 10) by 10:30pm EST.

In case you haven’t seen the news, Just Mayo is making Unilever quake in their boots with their eggless mayo. Winning this contest is kinda like owning a piece of history! And did you know with Qrunch burgers you can make…

THIS: A Donut Philly Cheese Qrunch Steak!
On a more serious note, these yummy, Qrunchy quinoa burgers simply need to be popped in the toaster for a couple rounds and they are ready to go. Great for a burger substitute, but you can also put them in stuffing, crumbled on pizza, or just drizzle them with a bit of olive oil and eat them straight up (I did that last night with a side of roasted veggies).

Enter to win. Pass it on – TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS!!! But hurry because time is running out.

Win It: Just Mayo and Qrunch Burgers!

Okay friends – whether you’re looking for a good gluten free burger, need a vegan convenience food, or just about to start the Nativity Fast and wondering what the heck you are going to eat, THIS CONTEST IS FOR YOU!!! I have two 8oz jars of Just Mayo, and four coupons each good for one free box of Qrunch Burgers. I will mail these items to the winner (sorry, must be in the United States).

So, how do you win? Share this blog on facebook or via email using the little round buttons below (just above the Reblog and Like buttons). Then comment letting me know you’ve shared, and also please tell me your favorite vegan/Lenten recipe! The contest closes at 10:30pm EST on Monday, November 10.

I chose these products because I truly think they are wonderful. The makers of Just Mayo, Hampton Creek, is a great company basically planning to takeover the world with egg-free products, and willing to sell their stuff anywhere – including the dollar store! And Just Mayo is one of the only food items in the dollar store that isn’t a ripoff.
Qrunch Burgers are a favorite because they are convenient – just pop them in the toaster for a couple rounds. I love that they don’t try to imitate real burgers (and then fail epically, as most do). They’re soy-free, flavorful, have a great crunchy texture, and they’re delicious sandwiched between two donuts!

I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do. Good luck!

We Have a Winner!!!!!

Win a Night Out for the Family – Italian Dinner & Entertainment for 4!

Hey Friends!

St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids, MI is having an Italian Dinner, with entertainment by illusionist Brian Penny on Saturday, September 20. A very generous person has donated four tickets for me to give away on the blog.
Although this isn’t a vegan event, there are vegan and gluten free options available.

The meal will be served buffet-style and include pasta with choice of two sauces (a vegetarian alfredo sauce and a vegan marinara, gluten free pasta available upon advance request), breadsticks, and salad. Please let us know before the event if you need gluten free pasta! The dessert is ice cream in freshly-made waffle cone bowls, but I’m also going to bake up some vegan & gluten free cookies to share with those with dietary restrictions.

Dinner begins at 6pm, followed by Brian Penny. There will be magic props, kits, and other items available for purchase at a souvenir table. You are welcome to arrive at 5pm to attend Vespers with the parish, if you feel so inclined.

For a chance to win the tickets, please:
1. Share my blog on facebook and/or
2. Like my page on facebook
3. Comment below letting me know whether you Shared, Liked, or both.
You will be entered once for the Share and once for the Like (it doesn’t have to be a new Like).

If you do not win the tickets and would still like to attend, you can find out how to buy tickets HERE.
